SoHo Programs
Work Readiness Customer Service
If you’re 16-24, out of work and not in school, we’ll train you and help you find a job! You’ll get:
- Job training for culinary and customer service careers
- 8 weeks of workshops
- 4 weeks of job search assistance with a job developer
- Experience in writing a resume, interviewing, understanding your finances, managing your stress, communicating professional, and managing the technology you need to be successful

Culinary Program
If you’re 16-24, out of work and not in school, we can get you on the path to an exciting career in the culinary industry. You’ll get:
- A paid internship
- A ServSafe Food Handler’s Certification
- Job placement when you finish

Bronx Youth Center Programs
HSE Program:
If you’re 16-24 and want your high school equivalency diploma, prepare to take the HSE exam with FREE classes from The Door Bronx Youth Center. We offer:
- Classes for ALL skill levels
- Onsite HSE Testing Center
- Incentives
- Job placement services
- Referrals

YAIP Plus:
The Door Bronx Youth Center’s YAIP Plus is a PAID internship program for youth, ages 16-24, who are or have been in ACS’s foster care or the juvenile justice system and are not working or in school.
- Paid work readiness training
- Paid experience in a field of interest
- Mentoring and support
- Follow-up services to help you reach your goals
