Vice President of Healthcare Operations
Renee joined The Door in 2014 as Managing Director of the Adolescent Health Center. As Vice President of Healthcare Operations, Renee will be responsible for managing all aspects of The Door's Adolescent Health Center and Mental Health portfolio (and supervision of the Managing Director of Mental Health Services), including oversight of the day-to-day compliance activities of Medicaid Services and review of vendor and funder contracts, and working with auditing firms to ensure compliance with annual financial filings.
She is also responsible for delivering comprehensive health care, including operations, quality improvement, compliance, program development and expansion, strategic planning, budget oversight, revenue cycle, and grants management. As an advocate for reproductive justice, restorative justice, and health equity, Renee strives to ensure that all young people have full access to high-quality health care and support services at The Door.
Before joining The Door, Renee held senior management positions at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, Public Health Solutions, and the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Renee has a Master of Science in healthcare management from The New School Milano Graduate Program of Management and Urban Policy and a Bachelor of Arts from Stony Brook University. She is also a Senior Fellow with Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College and its Center for Nonprofit Strategy and Management.
