To become a Door member, please email membership@door.org

The Door is here for you, but things look a little bit different right now. All of our services are available, though most of them are virtual. If you are between the ages of 12 and 24, you can become a member of The Door. It’s easy, it’s free and it’s completely confidential. For information about getting connected to any of The Door’s services, you can text us at 929-357-0768 or email membership@door.org.

The street entrance for The Door is located at 555 Broome Street on the corner of Broome and Avenue of the Americas (6th Avenue). The Door is easily accessible by subway via C/E to Spring Street, A/C/E to Canal Street or 1 to Canal Street, or by taking the M21 bus to Varick and Canal.

How to become a Door member

The Door’s membership process is easy — there is no fee to join or requirements to become a member, and you’ll have access to everything you need.

To start, you will have a brief interview with an intake counselor to talk about yourself and your interests, and to learn about all of The Door’s Programs & Services. After the interview, your intake counselor will help you sign up for any of the services you want or need. Come join us today and discover a whole new world of opportunity!

If you are a young person with questions about becoming a member, please email membership@door.org.

If you are a service provider or affiliated with another organization and would like to arrange a tour of The Door, please contact lford@door.org.
