For the past 17 years, The Door has been working with Gap Inc. on their This Way ONward (TWO) program, through which we provide youth with targeted job training, one-on-one mentorship, and employment placement within Old Navy stores throughout New York City. The program was first piloted in in 2007, when Gap Inc. welcomed 11 Door members as interns in-store, and has grown exponentially over the years, resulting in hundreds of young people securing meaningful employment opportunities. In that time, we have continuously strengthened our partnership, providing technical assistance and coaching to other non-profits as TWO expanded, piloting new strategies and initiatives within TWO, and collaborating with Old Navy as they work towards their goal to impact 20,000 youth and hire 5% of entry-level employees through TWO partners like The Door by 2025. This grant is provided through the Imagine Mission Fund at T.
